As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles. Key responsibilities include assisting in unloading merchandise from baskets, packaging groceries, and helping customers in transporting and locating merchandise. Additionally, you will gather baskets, pick up trash, maintain and stock bag areas, return products to proper locations, stock and stage bags, and stock check stand supplies. You will also distribute Buddy bucks to registers, replace anti-fatigue mats, and perform various cleaning tasks to maintain store cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications and key requirements include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work with customers attentively, maintain productivity and efficiency standards, and complete Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training upon hire. Physical demands involve functioning in a fast-paced retail environment, reaching at various levels, standing, walking, and occasionally reaching overhead, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs, pivoting, twisting, pushing/pulling with arms, pinching, and performing fine motor movements. You may also be exposed to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions. The ability to lift 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs) is required.
