The Role: Account Executive

Reporting to the Account Manager and Account Director, the candidate will be an Account Executive working across culture clients (Dr Marten's, Universal Music Group and Therabody).

The position requires someone who is passionate and wants to be at the heart of culture. We need an enthusiastic and pro-active candidate who has experience working multi-tasking and dealing with quick turnarounds whilst maintaining excellent client servicing. If you have experience dealing with the pressures of account handling across media planning and buying this is a bonus.

The role will be working across all media channels, including AV, Social, OLV, OOH, Print and media partnerships. Experience implementing, reporting & optimising within digital self-serve platforms (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Snapchat, Google AdWords, etc.) would be greatly beneficial. The candidate should also be comfortable at ensuring media bookings are put onto the finance system in an accurate and timely manner and that internal PO trackers and campaign laydowns are kept up to date.

Due to the nature of our agency and business, the candidate must have brilliant inter-personal skills; ability to multi-task to an exceptional level; excellent organisational skills and attention to detail; understand that a high level of service to our clients is expected. They should also be a creative thinker – someone who is willing to put forward smart, innovative and creative ideas rooted in culture that can help address our client's challenges.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Build and develop a strong relationship with clients demonstrating expertise, confidence, trust, enthusiasm and understanding of their business.
  • Work with the AM/AD on respective client patches to ensure all campaigns are managed and executed to an exceptional standard.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to assist in the planning of campaigns across the culture client portfolio.
  • Be proactive in bringing new ideas and ways of doing things to the table, share ideas & knowledge generously.

Campaign Delivery and Coordination

  • Day to day communication, sharing updates across clients and agency departments involved in projects.
  • Help managing delivery of live campaigns and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Anticipating milestones and requirements on live campaigns to ensure both client and agency departments are prepared in advance.
  • Ensuring all standard client requirements are delivered correct and on time (status reports, monthly competitive reviews, invoicing).
  • Work with the AM/AD and wider team to proactively explore new opportunities and ideas based on the latest cultural moments or events.

Client Servicing

  • Sustain an elevated level of client service and partnership, through regular conversations and meetings with our clients.
  • Attend regular calls and status meetings with the clients.
  • Keep on top of the latest industry and market news to share with clients on a frequent basis.
  • Work with the wider team to present market, competitive and post-campaign analysis.
  • Research and help organise media workshops and learning sessions with client marketing departments.
  • Ensure weekly round-ups of agency work is communicated in a concise and clear way.

Agency Collaboration

  • Maintain strong communication with agency teams to support effective strategy and planning.
  • Attendance of regular Arena events and wider industry events and learnings.
  • Work closely with other relevant teams around Havas – including finance teams, insight teams and specialist activation teams.
