This position plays a key role in coordinating between OEM customers and different areas of Harman to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and production. The role includes comprehensive short and long-term production planning, tracking material supply, and continuously adjusting schedules to meet changing customer needs. The position requires close collaboration with customers, SIOP demand planning, material planning, project and production teams to optimize delivery deadlines and support new product launches. The role contributes to ensuring operations are smooth, efficient, and aligned with customer expectations.
Manage customer orders and maintain regular communication with customers
Assess manufacturing requirements and follow up on production needs in line with customer expectations and delivery deadlines
Prepare short-, mid-, and long-term production plans based on customer demand and forecast data
Provide delivery schedules to the warehouse to support on-time shipments
Coordinate with Production to define and implement actions in case of production backlogs
Check material availability and ensure continuous alignment with the Purchasing team
Monitor changes in customer requirements and coordinate demand fluctuations with customers, Sales, the Demand Planning team, and other plant functions
Support project activities related to new product launches, ramp-ups, production phase-outs, and outsourcing activities
Prepare statistics and monitor relevant KPIs and operational performance indicators
Maintain master data for finished and semi-finished products, ensure correct and up-to-date system status, and review MRP results
Higher education - preferably logistics, business and management, supply chain management or minimum 2 years experience in logistics (Production planning, customer relations)
Fluent communicative Hungarian and English language skills in oral and written form
Knowledge of a business management system - preferably SAP
Ms Office - Excel user level
University Degree - Logistics, Economics and Management, Supply Chain Management or experience in Logistics (Production Planning, Customer Relations)
Several years of experience in electronics or automotive manufacturing
Knowledge of production planning programs (SAP - LMPC, SAP - IBP)
