About the Role

• Failure analysis of customer returns, providing warranty service.

What You Will Do

• Duplicate/simulate the customer failures in Harman China.
• Hardware analysis for customer 0km and warranty returns.
• Software analysis for customer 0km and warranty returns.
• Failure analysis instruments and rework equipment setup, maintenance.
• Compile Failure Analysis document for standard failure analysis procedure and related instrument operation.
• Control ESD in FA area.
• Communicate with design, AME, testing to study product theory and master them for failure analyze.
• Develop and evaluate failure analyze equipment or instrument.
• Effective and efficient analyze skill or ability.
• Feedback analysis result to customer quality engineer for further investigation and corrective actions.
• Result driven: failure analysis right rate, duration for analysis, duration for new product study.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by his supervisor to support the operation.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree required in electronic related.
• Three years or more experience in electronic production failure analysis area.
• Be familiar with electronic circuit and schematic reading and understanding
• Be familiar with different electronic communication protocol such as CAN, Most etc.
• Rework tools operation skill (Soldering Iron, hot air gun, BGA rework station, through hole rework station)

• Be easy to communicate and good at learning, good executive ability.
• Master common or conventional testing/measurement instruments
• Minor travel required around China to support and audit suppliers.
