Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, build relationships with clients, and drive Halliday's expansion into the crypto payments space. You'll play a critical role in helping us connect with potential clients in the fintech and traditional finance sectors as they adopt blockchain and explore global financial solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and qualify top-of-funnel pipeline across Web2 (Fintechs) & Web3 (DeFi, PayFi, Neobanks, dApps)
  • Own outreach, discovery, and early-stage relationship management.
  • Run product demos, communicate value, and tailor messaging to stakeholder needs.
  • Work closely with the CEO & VP of Business Development on sales strategy, target accounts, and partnership formation.
  • Eventually own and scale the sales process as the team grows.

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally in fintech, payments, or traditional finance, transitioning to DeFi.
  • A strong understanding of the intersection between traditional finance, Fintech, and blockchain.
  • Experience targeting mid-market companies or payment automation solutions is a plus.
  • Independent, proactive, and low-ego-you like to move fast, iterate, and do the work.
  • You should have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into value propositions.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000. This reflects the minimum and maximum range across New York City. This does not include equity or benefits.
