Under general supervision, this position is responsible for creating, building, and sustaining customer relationships; managing chemical accounts; troubleshooting; and scheduling.
Responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations to sustain client accounts and acquire new business opportunities.
Must demonstrate ability to stabilize business in large strategic accounts.
Manages smaller accounts with combined revenues up to $2.5MM.
Directly supervises field personnel to maintain and support accounts.
Supervisory duties include interviewing/selecting employees, providing performance feedback, monitoring work, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
Pursue organic growth with existing customers and new opportunities with new customers.
Technical requirements include knowledge of Multi-Chem product lines and applications, ability to test, select, and recommend products per established methods.
Provide technical support and escalate complaints as needed.
As site expert, may collect samples and analyze data.
Offer sound technical advice and recommendations to support operational requirements.
Knowledge of chemical pump design and specifications.
Creates, builds, and sustains custom chemical programs and optimizes them as opportunities arise.
Knowledge of Microsoft platforms.
Provide clear, concise reports and recommendations internally and externally.
Produce and present technical presentations.
Utilize software to maintain customer financial and technical portfolios.
Perform system analysis.
Interpret data and develop recommendations to ensure optimal operations.
Demonstrate strong leadership by coaching, training, and leading portions of District Meetings.
High school diploma or equivalent is required and minimum of 1 year of experience in the Production Chemical business which includes experience in the oil and gas industry.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Chemical Account Manager I or Senior Chemical Account Manager.
