Unique Skills:
DUTIES: Assist with the planning, coordination, performance of design, analysis, and liaison engineering supporting the development and production of company products and services. Contribute to the planning, developing, and coordinating of important engineering projects. Provide specialized technical assistance to team members. Use advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Determine and develop own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives. Work under limited supervision, having work reviewed only for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives. Act as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area. Actively work to improve daily processes and ensure all work meets customer requirements. Maintain a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Flight Test Engineering, or a related engineering field required. Five years of experience in job offered or in a related engineering position required, including any experience with: avionics and/or electrical system development and integration; FAA (14 CFR Part 25) and/or EASA (CS-25) certification; Integrated Modular Avionics Systems; post flight data analysis to troubleshoot flight squawks and problem reports; developing avionics systems requirements and executing requirements validation and verification; performing aircraft and systems level integration; and ARP-4754A experience including requirements development, validation, and verification. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Flight Test Engineering, or a related engineering field and five years of above-listed experience, Employer will accept a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Flight Test Engineering, or a related engineering field and three years of the above-listed experience or a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Flight Test Engineering, or a related engineering field and one year of the above listed experience. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years in specific technical discipline or 10 years broad eng experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors. Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 years for Masters, 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
