Key Account Manager - Hämatologie (m/w/d)

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the scientific and knowledgeable support and consultation of opinion leaders, clinics, and practices in hematology. You will conduct regular customer, market, and competition analyses to ensure efficient area management.

Area: Düsseldorf, Mönchengladbach, Essen, Krefeld, Wesel

Main tasks

  • Sales through patient-oriented medical-scientific consultation for the appropriate use of products in hemato/oncology within the approved indications
  • Sales and result responsibility for the supported products in the area
  • Needs-oriented key account/area management taking into account internal standards and systems as well as active involvement of all relevant internal interface partners
  • Planning, organizing, and conducting events for the continuing education of doctors, nursing, or practice staff as well as other relevant target groups including own activity as a speaker or moderator in front of customer groups
  • Supporting the networking of customers in the sense of integrated, cross-sector care based on careful situation analysis and clarification of common interests and motives
  • Carrying out project management activities (e.g., support of clinics, quality circles, local or regional networks) in the aforementioned context

Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualification according to § 75 AMG or comparable qualification
  • Experience in the field of oncology and/or comparable specialty products in practice and clinic
  • Ability for project-oriented work (planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination of complex account plans)
  • Experience with multi-channel customer support
  • Process flows in KH, patient pathways, and care models
  • Knowledge of material flows and decision-making paths in clinics and customer networks (e.g., AMK, drug listing, condition framework/negotiation)
  • Willingness to travel and overnight stays as part of the activity in the area
  • Very good English and German skills in speech and writing
