We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Manager to join a thriving Minnesota-based insurance agency. This is a leadership role where you will directly shape the growth and success of the Commercial Lines department while delivering exceptional client service.
• Manage a portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients, ensuring top-tier service and long-term retention. • Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day departmental operations. • Streamline workflows and implement processes that increase efficiency and service quality. • Identify opportunities for growth, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options. • Track and analyze departmental performance to ensure goals and objectives are met. • Maintain strong relationships with carriers to support competitive placement and client satisfaction. • Mentor and train team members, ensuring effective use of Applied Epic and carrier platforms. • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment. • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff evaluations. • Take on additional responsibilities to support the department and agency growth.
• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, including leadership or supervisory experience. • Active Minnesota Property & Casualty license. • Strong working knowledge of Applied Epic (preferred). • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and detail-focused mindset. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency technology platforms.
