IT Service Desk Analyst

Do you enjoy helping colleagues solve technical challenges and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? The IT Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for all City technology needs, providing friendly, Tier 1 support in person, by phone, email, and through our IT Service Management system. You'll triage requests, resolve issues, and escalate more complex matters to the IT Technician team, all while delivering outstanding customer service.

In this role, you'll get hands-on experience with a wide range of systems, from troubleshooting computers and mobile devices to supporting software, printers, AV equipment, and City-wide copiers. You'll also help with equipment inventory, installations, and user training, making a real difference in the day-to-day productivity of our organization. Minimum qualifications: Associates degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite and current Microsoft Windows operating systems. Training and experience in maintenance, repair and proper use of personal computers. Must complete and pass a CJIS background investigation prior to employment, and obtain CJIS certification within 30 days of starting employment. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

Process Overview:

Personal Computer Employee Purchase Program: To encourage the development of employee computer skills, the City offers an interest-free loan to you for the purchase of computer hardware (including a Desktop or Laptop) and software. The employee must have successfully completed their 6-month Introductory Period for eligibility. Recreation Center Membership: Employees and family members are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per person per year. Golf Course Green Fees: Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
