The Town of Holly Springs is searching for a Customer Service Representative to serve at the W.E. Hunt Center. This position is responsible for providing prompt, friendly and courteous service while addressing a variety of customer requests for information and assistance for Town Parks & Recreation activities and amenities. Reports to the Customer Service Representative Lead. Work is checked for accuracy, quality, and adherence to instructions. Employee may need to occasionally choose from defined alternatives to resolve problems but consults with supervisor on matters not covered by guidelines. The work schedule is Monday- Friday 12:15pm-9:15pm, with occasional weekends as needed. The starting annual salary is $45,867.44 (Grade D).

This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, frequently requires standing, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions and occasionally requires walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling and reaching with hands and arms. Work has standard vision requirements. Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data and observing general surroundings and activities. Work is performed daily both in and outdoors under all weather conditions and includes exposure to inclement weather, noise, vibrations, airborne materials, chemicals and live animals. Work is generally in a moderately noisy setting (e.g. business office, medium traffic).
Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service, accounting or other related experience.
