Under general supervision, responsible for performing duties related to the operations of the Parks & Recreation front desk functions at the Aquatic Center. Provides customer service to patrons in person, by phone and email; answers questions and assists with registration and facility reservations. This position is an intermittent position which may include early mornings, days, evenings and weekends for an estimated 10-20 hours per week.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Education Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Experience One year of customer service experience is desirable. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. License or Certificate Possession of an appropriate, valid CPR certification within 6 months of beginning employment. Possession of an appropriate, valid first aid certification within 6 months of beginning employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS The physical demands herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Environment: Incumbents work in a normal office setting with exposure to computer screens and occasional elevated sound. Incumbents in this position have extensive interactions with the general public and may occasionally deal with distraught or difficult people. Mobility: Incumbents require sufficient mobility to work in an office setting and operate office equipment; to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate office equipment. Vision, Hearing and Communication: Vision sufficient to read small printed documents, computer screens and other documents.
