About the Agency: The Department of Revenue is responsible for collecting tax revenues that support state and local governments in Mississippi.
About the Position: This role is accountable for managing team leaders and/or supervisors who provide IT end-user service management support services. Responsibilities include overseeing IT end-user service management support, evaluating new products, and providing training for end-user start-up and ongoing usage.
To be successful in this position, you need strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a customer-focused mindset. You must be able to manage and develop a team, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users, and prioritize multiple tasks. Success also requires problem-solving ability, organization, and a commitment to delivering timely, high-quality support.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 7-10+ years of experience in an IT end user service management support environment.
