Technical Project Coordinator

Join our team and build the future of space technology. We’re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Technical Project Coordinator with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to lead the technical solution of projects within the R&D department, working closely with the CTO and area leads. This role involves coordinating all phases of specification, design, implementation, and verification, ensuring technical consistency and product quality. The coordinator will act as the technical reference for the team, the main technical contact for clients, and a key support for Project Managers in technical decision-making. Additionally, they will oversee issue tracking, configuration control, and provide support to both the commercial and production teams, contributing to the development and standardization of new products.

What you will be doing?

  • Coordinate the project's technical solution across its specification, analysis, design, implementation, and verification phases, involving the Area Leads participating in the project.
  • Serve as the technical reference for team members when making technical decisions, always in alignment with the Area Leads.
  • Support Project Managers in all technical aspects of the project.
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for the client.
  • Report the most relevant technical information to the CTO and seek support for key decision-making.
  • Monitor open technical issues, anomalies, and non-conformities within the project.
  • Raise technical alerts when necessary and escalate them to the CTO and Area Leads as appropriate.
  • Maintain configuration and change control in collaboration with the involved teams.
  • Provide technical support to the commercial team.
  • Support the production team, ensuring that all received inputs are correct prior to manufacturing.
  • Contribute to product development for future standardization.

What do we need in our team?

  • Degree in Telecommunications, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Hardware + Software product development.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with RF communication systems.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating teams from a technical perspective.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills in English (at least a B2 level).

Valuable knowledge:

  • Experience in the space sector will be considered a plus.
