Junior Key Account Manager

The Role at a Glance

Location: Belgium, Hybrid

Team: Commercial

Scope: Supporting strategic account management for Giftify's largest shopping centre groups

Language(s): English & French Mandatory

Why This Role Exists

Managing strategic accounts at HQ-level within large international retail real estate groups is complex, high-stakes work. The Key Account Manager owns the relationship and the commercial outcome, but needs a partner who brings rigour, structure, and analytical depth to every client interaction and tender submission. That's this role. You will be the analytical and operational backbone of Giftify's KAM function and you will progressively take on your own client conversations, tender sections, and commercial responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Strategic Account Support

  • Support the KAM in building and updating Client Strategic Business Plans: research, data consolidation, competitor benchmarks, and presentations.
  • Prepare business review materials and performance reports for HQ-level client meetings.
  • Track action plans and commitments across strategic accounts — nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Maintain structured account documentation so any commercial team member can understand account status at a glance.

Commercial & Financial Monitoring

  • Consolidate data and benchmarks to support KAM-led commercial negotiations and client conversations.
  • Contribute to building Giftify's per-client P&L framework — help create the data infrastructure that makes client-level financial analysis possible.
  • Define, track, and update client-level KPIs; flag risks and anomalies to the KAM proactively.

Tender Management Support

  • Support tender preparation: consolidate inputs from internal stakeholders, manage deadlines, ensure formatting compliance.
  • Maintain the tender content library and standardised response frameworks — keep them current, accurate, and usable.
  • Contribute to win/loss analyses by gathering data and helping structure the post-mortem review.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a coordination hub between Business Development, Client Success, Product, Finance, Legal and Operations on strategic account matters.
  • Ensure internal alignment before key client interactions; proactively surface risks, dependencies, and decision points.
  • Support communication between HQ-level client stakeholders and local Client Success teams.

Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement

  • Support competitive benchmarking and market research that feeds into KAM-led positioning.
  • Document learnings and process improvements; share them proactively — not just when asked.

What Success Looks Like

3 monthsYou know Giftify's platform, strategic accounts, and the tender process inside out. You have produced your first client business review and tender pack to a standard the KAM is proud to present.
6 monthsYou attend HQ client meetings and contribute to discussions. You own account tracking and KPI reporting independently. The KAM trusts you to manage tender coordination without prompting.
12 monthsYou lead sections of client conversations and tender submissions independently. You have a clear development plan towards KAM. Internal stakeholders see you as a reliable, proactive commercial partner.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years in a commercial, account management, business analysis, or strategy role — B2B preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills: you are comfortable with data, build structured reporting, and can translate numbers into a clear, useful narrative.
  • Exceptional attention to detail — you are the person who catches the error in a tender document that everyone else missed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French (mandatory). Any other languages is a plus.
  • Proactive and ownership-driven: you flag issues before they become problems, and you take initiative without needing to be asked.
  • Able to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously without losing quality.
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint. CRM experience HubSpot or similar is a plus.
  • Genuinely curious about Giftify's business model — you want to understand the industry, not just complete tasks.
