Job Title
Contributing to the sale and promotion of GFL waste collection services by supporting external sales representatives and ensuring liaison between operations and sales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate data entry in the CDE and processing of verification forms.
- Assisting external sales representatives in scheduling appointments and other tasks.
- Keeping contract files up to date.
- Responding to client calls and inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Helping sales representatives prepare quotes.
- Processing all incoming requests for new and modified services.
- Carrying out necessary projects.
- Providing support to the sales manager as needed.
- Fully complying with all applicable laws, regulations, orders, and other directives, as well as all company and hierarchy policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Performing any other tasks requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Knowledge of the JD Edwards system is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to create, enter, and track information in Excel spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
- Office work 95% of the time.
- Remote work permitted (2 days per week), following the training period.
