Account Manager – Southeast Saskatchewan

GFL Environmental is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager to join our solid waste division, supporting customers across Southeast Saskatchewan. If you're a hands-on sales professional who thrives on connection, accountability, and follow-through. This position will be based in Regina and will include travel approximately twice a month. The role offers flexibility for remote work and autonomy to manage your territory effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and renew a large portfolio of existing customer contracts across Southeast Saskatchewan.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial and commercial clients.
  • Conduct cold calls, site visits and network to generate leads, prepare quotes, negotiate renewals, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Analyze customer waste stream needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive market activities.
  • Represent GFL at business meetings, industry events, and civic functions.

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sales: 2–3 years in sales, ideally within industrial, construction, or service-based industries.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • People Savvy: Down-to-earth and approachable — able to engage confidently with hands-on industries and high-conflict situations.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, manage your time, and deliver results.
  • Valid Driver's License: Travel within the assigned region is required.
