Tax Project Coordinator
The Tax Project Coordinator works to assist in the management and organization of the State & Local Tax Audit and Planning ('SALT') Team within the Corporate Tax Department. Individuals will work on a combination of communicating with tax authorities via telephone, email & written letters, retrieving and analyzing data through leveraging technology tools, identifying process improvement opportunities, and other similar projects.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Respond to tax notices received from federal, state, and international taxing authorities
- Responsible for managing several projects and workstreams essential to the SALT function as well as other tax groups
- Various ad hoc monthly, quarterly, and/or annual projects
- Support various Team Members on projects and workstream management
- Administrative support
Nature and Scope:
- Position reports to Senior Manager
- No direct reports
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must pass drug test
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Education Required:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree
- Candidates will be considered without a bachelor's degree provided they have relevant work experience

Physical Job Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about
- Ability to move or lift light articles, such as binders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in an office setting
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments and manage time efficiently
- Interest in understanding the context for assignments and driving process improvement and efficiency
- Experience with SharePoint
- Knowledge in defining data and reporting needs leveraging Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting applications
- Intermediate knowledge of PC based programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
