The Georgia Department of Corrections is seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support for our staff and office technology, including audiovisual (AV) systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, collaborating with colleagues, and keeping systems running smoothly in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
This is an on-site position and requires reporting to the office five (5) days a week at the SOSTC offices in Forsyth, GA. Some instate travel will also be required.
Min. Salary = $41,569.83 Mid. Salary = $54,425.82 Max. Salary = $67,287.20 High school diploma/GED and six (6) months of education or experience in information security, privacy, system/network administration and support, or application development and training and experience necessary to independently provide technical support to computer users in an assigned office/geographic area.
