Senior Account Manager

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Account Executive. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s and our closest allies’ fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

GDMS, a market leader and technology innovator, is seeking a talented Senior Level Account Manager to join our team, to focus on maintaining and growing GDMS’s customer base with a territory focus such as within our military and IC (Intelligence Community) customer base. In this role you will be responsible for account management efforts within the assigned territory. As a Senior Level Account Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:

  • Establish and grow business relationships with key military and IC programs, organizations, and customers which drives market adoption of GDMS product and solutions.
  • Develop strategic plans for long-term sustained sales growth within assigned accounts.
  • Create, collaborate, and execute strategies to grow SNVP revenue.
  • Opportunity development, pursuit, and closure.
  • Scheduling site visits and teleconferences to present demonstrations, maintain accounts, and provide continued influence on future plans.
  • Pre-sales and post-sales account manager support and customer support.
  • Deliver annual quota commitments across key accounts displaying sales and revenue growth over time while ensuring the proper actions are taken to sustain this continued growth.

Prefer someone based in the National Capital Region (MD/VA/DC). Also open to someone based out of our Dedham, MA location or someone remote that will travel.

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range: USD $133,400.00 - USD $144,600.00/Yr.
