The GEA location in Niederahr, Rhineland-Palatinate, is a significant production center of the GEA Westfalia Separator Group GmbH. On over 18,000 m², state-of-the-art centrifuges for mechanical separation technology are produced here. The main product, the so-called decanter, enables the efficient separation of liquids and solids – a process that is used worldwide in various industries such as the food industry, pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, environmental technology, and shipping. As a commercial technical support, you will take over a variety of important tasks that ensure a smooth operation and high quality of services.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Support the commercial coordinator in budget processes with the subsidiaries, cost center planning, and control
• Control of service KPIs
• Creation of sales and cost calculations
• Creation of offers and orders: You calculate the costs of repairs and create corresponding offers and orders for our customers.
• Creation of business plans, analyses, and reports
• Support in creating and maintaining master data.
• Review and monitoring of order status and throughput
• Planning, scheduling and monitoring of repair orders.
• Documentation and archiving: You manage and archive all technical documents to ensure complete documentation.
• Regular communication: You are in continuous exchange with various departments such as R&C, construction, business unit (BU), and repair technology to ensure optimal cooperation and work processes.
• Occasional support of the workshop (e.g., inspection, disassembly, assembly, etc.) in case of capacity bottlenecks

Your Profile/Qualifications:

• Completed training in a metalworking profession
• Further education to master, state-certified technician or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications as well as experience with SAP R3 and SAP S4 Hana
• Secure German and English language skills
• Service mentality and analytical skills
• Willingness and interest in international work
• Independent, structured, flexible, and conceptual working
• Willingness for continuous further education to always be up to date with the latest technology and processes
