The Collateral team plays a key role in managing financial risk and ensuring timely, accurate collateral transfers to protect the firm's counterparty exposure. We work closely with internal departments such as Front & Middle Office, Fund Oversight, as well as external partners such as brokers, custodians, or vendors. How You Will Add Value

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure collateral requirements are met across custodians and accounts.
  • You will work with Front and Middle Office teams to optimize collateral.
  • You will ensure any uncovered exposure is investigated.
  • You will identify and implement practical solutions to improve workflows.
  • You will resolve operational issues with internal teams.
  • You will maintain strong relationships with brokers, custodians, and vendors.
  • You will contribute to documentation and process improvements.

Team & Collaboration:

  • You will lead and support collateral-related projects.
  • You will provide operational input for new initiatives.
  • You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex queries.
  • You will share ideas that enhance team collaboration and efficiency.

What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Solid understanding of investment industries and financial instruments.
  • Experience managing high-volume operational tasks.
  • Proven ability to lead or support projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Workflows and collaboration platforms.
  • Basic SQL skills for data querying.
  • Basic experience with Alteryx and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

Soft Skills:

  • Initiative and creative problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
