Position Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for managing sales activities directly with end-users of the organization's products or services. This role may cover a large geographic area or focus on a specific industry or product segment on a national or regional basis. The level of responsibility is determined by the size and significance of the assigned territory or market segment.

Location: Georgia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales within a designated geographic area, industry, or product segment.
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Sell company products or services through a specific channel, either individually or as part of a team.
  • Handle small to medium-sized accounts and meet assigned sales quotas.
  • Complete moderately complex sales transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Recommend optimal solutions to clients using developing knowledge of products/services and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with senior sales personnel on more complex opportunities.
  • Begin to establish and maintain a network of contacts to support business development.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and cultivate sales opportunities from both new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry or product segment.
  • Working understanding of company products/services and effective use of sales techniques.
  • Developing familiarity with the industry or specialty product/service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

  • This is an intermediate-level sales role with increasing responsibility for revenue and bookings.
  • The position may require travel depending on the geographic scope of the territory.

Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range and variable compensation for this role is 170,000.00 - 200,000.00 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Forcepoint's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
