Job Title
This position is responsible for the growth and relationships of current customer accounts. This is done by personalized, proactive customer service to the customer, as well as identifying opportunities for account growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicating professionally in person, over the phone, and via email to accounts and team members
- Track growth/decline of managed customer accounts and identify new opportunities
- Utilize TMS to enter bids and keeping note of communication with customers
- Provide customers with a quick, effective solution if problems arise
- Continuously build and increase your industry knowledge
- Ability to be the main point of contact for customers
- Assist with accounting department with any invoicing problems that may arise
- Ability to generate sales among existing customer accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
- Service multiple customer accounts concurrently, often meeting deadlines
Experience and Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of two-years' experience in logistics required
- Minimum of three-years' experience in customer service preferred
