Teamleader Customer Service- Milieu
As Team Leader, you are responsible for directing, coaching, and developing a team within the Water and Soil Analysis department. You ensure the quality and efficiency of service delivery, stimulate growth and innovation, and are the link between strategy and execution within your team. You are a motivator and a substantive sparring partner who helps employees excel in their roles.
Function Description
Organizing, Optimizing, and Inspiring
- You develop a plan of action to optimize existing processes. You determine which actions need to be taken in the short and long term and ensure the implementation of these improvement trajectories.
- You are responsible for the execution of customer orders and oversee the process from the quote request, through the analysis in the laboratory, to the final result and invoicing.
- You are responsible for the smooth organization and optimization of the invoicing flow by automating and standardizing it as much as possible.
- You ensure optimal customer service by assisting your team with customer questions and complaints. You follow up on difficult cases yourself to stay on top of things.
- You guide and coach a team of 10 employees, also being responsible for team development; conducting performance reviews, identifying training needs, etc.
- You report to the Business Unit Manager.
Function Requirements
Result-oriented – Structured – Entrepreneurial
- You hold a master's degree, preferably in chemical or environmental science.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a B2B technical or environmental setting.
- You have knowledge of change management processes, setting up work processes and structures. You are experienced/have a strong affinity with forecasting/KPI management, customer satisfaction, LEAN, and operational excellence.
- You have a proactive and quality-oriented attitude. You are decisive, customer-oriented, and commercially minded. You are flexible, critical, and know how to set the right priorities.
- You communicate clearly, concretely, and goal-oriented in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a big plus.
- You can get along well with ERP systems.
- Thanks to your charismatic personality, you motivate and inspire your employees and help them develop themselves.
