The accredited laboratories of Eurofins Milieu offer an extensive range of chemical, physical, and biological analyses in all environmental matrices in the Netherlands. With years of experience, it has extensive knowledge in both routine and non-standard analyses, including analyses of special compounds and micro-contaminations. Eurofins is a market leader in specialized research; clients include water quality managers, Rijkswaterstaat, provincial and municipal authorities, environmental consulting firms, industry, and contractors. Approximately 600 motivated experts manage the process from sample collection to the digital reporting of analysis results. Analyses mainly take place in the large laboratories in Amsterdam (Eurofins Omegam) and Barneveld (Eurofins Analytico).

We are looking for a friendly and motivated colleague who is the link between our customers and our company. In this role, you will be the face to and from our clients. For the Barneveld location, we are looking for a:

Customer Support Medewerker (fulltime)

The Customer Support department operates between 08:00 and 18:00 hours and is the first point of contact for our clients in the Netherlands and abroad, the account managers, the various laboratories, and our own transport service. You will be the indispensable link between the different client segments and the laboratory services we provide.

What will you do as a Customer Support Medewerker?

You will become part of the customer support team, consisting of 12 driven and energetic employees, and will be managed by Heleen, the Department Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal service delivery to (inter)national clients of Eurofins. Together with your colleagues, you aim to relieve customers and advise them on various aspects such as the possibilities of our digital portal, our analysis packages, pricing, and our logistics services. You will closely monitor the clients' ongoing projects and guide them through different processes and departments.

You will also be responsible for handling and processing all incoming questions and comments via phone and email, the correct handling of complaints within the stipulated timeframe, preparing (partially automated) reports and documentation in the CRM system, performing general administrative tasks, and contributing to improvements in the area of Customer Support. You are proactive and know how to tackle problems! You are flexible in terms of working hours. Whether it's starting early in the morning or being the early bird, there is plenty of flexibility in terms of working hours.

In summary: you are the face and voice of Eurofins for the client and are the first point of contact for the client, various laboratories, and sales throughout the process.

Functie-eisen

• Completed MBO 4 education (technical or chemistry direction is a plus);
• You are customer-oriented and goal-driven, communicate clearly and listen well;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages in both speech and writing;
• You are flexible, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented, and have the ability to quickly adapt and adjust;
• You are focused on working together with your colleagues;
• Experience as an environmental scientist, laboratory technician, and/or experience with LIMS and CRM is a plus;
