Administratieve Customer Support Medewerker

We are looking for a cheerful and motivated colleague who is the hub between our customers and our company. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. For the Customer Support department of the Amsterdam branch, we are looking for a:

(Administrative) Customer Support Employee

The Customer Support department operates between 08:00 – 18:00 hours and is the first point of contact for our clients in the Netherlands and abroad, the account managers, the various laboratories, and our own transport service. You will be the first link between customers and the Account Managers or Analytical Service Managers.

What will you do as an (Administrative) Customer Support Employee?

You will become part of the customer support team, consisting of 12 driven and energetic employees and managed by Anne, the Department Manager. You will be responsible for providing optimal service to (international) clients of Eurofins. Together with your colleagues, you aim to relieve customers. You will support the customer with the possibilities of our digital portal, answer their questions about existing prices or standard delivery times. You will support the Analytical Service Managers with your administrative skills and conduct proactive customer communication about pending samples.

You will be responsible for the optimal handling and processing of incoming questions and comments, both by phone and email. You will ensure the correct data of our customers in our CRM system. Additionally, your sharp eye will detect any changes in the report layout.

In short: you are the oil in the machine of the Customer Support. Your work ensures that customers receive immediate answers and that your colleagues can do their work optimally. Thus, you are part of the voice of Eurofins for the customer.

Function Requirements

  • MBO work and thought level through education or experience
  • You are administratively strong and have an eye for detail
  • You are customer-service and goal-oriented, communicate concretely, clearly, and can listen well
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages
  • You are flexible, stress-resistant, solution-oriented, and have the ability to quickly switch and adapt
  • You are focused on working together with your colleagues
