Pet Emergency & Referral Center Client Service Team

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: We are a busy 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. Hours and days of the week will vary between 6am-3pm and 9am-6pm, four 9 hour shifts per week. Holidays and weekends are required. Weekly shifts will be between 3-5 days per week, not to exceed 40 hours.

As a Client Service Representative, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Promoting and maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Handling busy, multi-line phone system.
- Scheduling appointments for all departments.
- Act as a point of contact with referral hospitals to ensure all patient records are sent and received appropriately.
- Check clients in and out.
- Act as a liaison between clients and clinical staff, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- Support clients through difficult and emotional processes by maintaining professionalism and displaying empathy in all interactions.

About You:
- 2+ years of Veterinary Customer Service or Hospitality Experience
- Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions and transactions, and experience with de-escalation of difficult and stressful client or employee situations in a respectful and professional manner. Ability to promote effective communication between the CSR team, doctors and technical staff.
- Proficient in using computer and phone technology to manage appointments, records, and client communications efficiently.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust to a consistently changing environment, with a desire to grow and adapt within the hospital and professional field.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
