We are seeking an IT Support Technician. Located on-site in Chesapeake, VA. We have a position for a tech to join our small, internal Information Systems Team! This person's focus will be providing support to users, troubleshooting, and configuring workstations, phones, peripherals, etc., during normal business day hours. Being part of a small team means regular opportunities to participate in/learn other information technology areas such as: Server hardware and software, Linux, networks, firewalls, cybersecurity, development, automation, cloud, virtualization, etc.
Responsibilities:
This position is on-site/in-office, weekdays from 0830-1700.
Education: Military IT training AND experience OR 2 years of direct IT experience in a business environment

Required Skills: End-user support via phone/chat/remote, maintaining Windows 10/11, browser support/configuration, supporting/installing Microsoft Office, general knowledge of Office365, PC/laptop repair (including handling support via OEMs), configuring/troubleshooting/supporting various peripherals (printers, docking stations, etc.)
Preferred additional experience: Some hands-on experience with Linux, basic understanding of PKI, demonstrable knowledge of basic network devices, protocols, cabling, and WiFi.
