The Massachusetts Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling Prevention (MCOE PGP) provides capacity building, training, and program development services to address the prevention of problem gambling and its intersection with related health issues, such as substance misuse and mental health problems.
MCOE PGP at Education Development Center (EDC) is seeking a candidate for a paid internship. This is a one-semester, hybrid position beginning in January for an undergraduate intern based in Massachusetts and who can attend in-person meetings at least twice per month. The intern will typically work 1–2 days per week, or as otherwise agreed upon to meet school requirements.
The internship is designed to provide a current student majoring in public health with professional work experience and assist in applying knowledge and competencies obtained in public health coursework. The intern will acquire practical skills needed to function as a professional in the public health field while being of service to various communities in Massachusetts.
