We are currently looking for a Corporate Account Manager - Global Animal Health. After intensive training on our value propositions and go-to-market strategy, you will be responsible for a portfolio of customers and prospect accounts in the dairy farming industry in Europe ($10m+). Our Corporate Account Managers are "do-ers". They are the connection between Ecolab, our local sales and support teams, and the decision-makers in our customer's organizations. You'll partner with all three parties to help create solutions that will enable them to achieve their goals.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Working with the European dairy farming industry, your challenge is to gain, grow, and retain your customer base of corporate accounts and deliver innovative solutions, products, and programs
- Managing pricing, budgeting, and forecasting for the assigned customer portfolio in alignment with the respective regional account managers
- Develop an account strategy unique to each customer based on current and future needs that fosters a long-term, trusted relationship with Ecolab as a partner
- Actively drive Total Value Delivered (TVD) initiatives, making sure our customers understand the financial impact of working with Ecolab (exceptional ROI)
- Coordinate overall Ecolab contact with assigned customers to ensure the appearance of Ecolab as a seamless organization that delivers cross-divisional offerings efficiently and effectively
- Lead and manage business reviews at customer and corporate level, develop and negotiate contracts
- Serve as the knowledge expert concerning understanding assigned customer businesses and share this knowledge with key internal stakeholders to improve the overall customer experience provided by Ecolab
- Communicate regularly within Ecolab to ensure all parties clearly understand the strategies necessary to meet assigned customers' current and future needs
- Identify and secure new business by making corporate-level sales calls, preparing presentations, and representing the company at national tradeshows, conferences, or professional meetings
- New business development, winning new business, negotiating, and closing new deals within new and existing accounts
- Develop and implement tools to effectively measure customer satisfaction
- Partner with and coach regional account managers to ensure initiatives are implemented
- Flexibility in responsibilities is required in case of changes to the division priorities, commercial tools and processes.
Your profile:
- Fluent in English (written and oral)
- Knowledge of/ experience with key account Sales processes, Corporate account planning, CRM management
- Understanding of Value selling and how to use the value propositions developed by marketing at the accounts
- Master's degree, preferably in an agri-related study, like veterinary science or agronomy. Or Business/ sales/ marketing with gained experience in Agri.
- Minimum 5-year working experience in Sales
- Understanding of the complexity of a Matrix organization and experience with managing stakeholders within one
- Sensitive to cultural differences in working across different countries and able to adjust to them when required
- Willingness to travel extensively in Europe, at least 33% of your time
- Based in Europe with good connections to an international airport, preferably in one of the large European dairy-farming countries
