Account Manager - Ebury Connect (API)

The Role

Ebury Connect, our FX-as-a-Service (FXaaS) platform, provides a digitally integrated solution that allows businesses and FinTech partners to embed Ebury's financial capabilities directly into their systems via APIs. This enables them to manage complex cross-border payments, streamline operations, and offer seamless multi-currency solutions to their own clients.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Account Manager to join our team in Brazil, specifically focused on managing and growing relationships with our Ebury Connect clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B sales and account management, with a passion for FinTech, international payments, and foreign exchange.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Ebury Connect clients in Brazil, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Ebury's full suite of products and services, ensuring clients are fully leveraging the platform to meet their business goals.
  • Strategic Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on foreign exchange strategies, international payment processes, and regulatory compliance in the Brazilian market.
  • Onboarding & Support: Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new Ebury Connect clients, and provide ongoing technical and operational support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor client activity and performance metrics, addressing any issues and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the Brazilian FinTech and FX space to provide valuable insights to both clients and internal teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our sales, product, and technical teams to relay client feedback, influence product development, and ensure a seamless client experience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a B2B account management, sales, or relationship management role, ideally within the financial services, FinTech, or payments industry.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of foreign exchange, cross-border payments, and FX risk management products.
  • Experience working with APIs and platform-based solutions is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to account management.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to achieving and exceeding targets.
