As an Account Manager, you are responsible for our highest revenue and strategically important sellers on eBay. Your focus is on building long-term relationships with your customers and proactively promoting growth. You create customized business plans so that all sellers you support can achieve their growth goals on eBay.de. You are the point of contact for all questions your customers have, conduct business reviews, and support them in all areas of trading on eBay. You are successful in the position of Account Manager if you consistently pursue your goals, enjoy working independently in a very dynamic and constantly changing environment, and convince our sellers through a partnership-oriented and service-oriented communication. It is also important that you engage in detail with the business of your customers and understand their needs. Your tasks:

  • Your goal is the growth of your customers. You support our business sellers with all eBay-specific inquiries, including logistical issues.
  • You are reachable for your customers by phone and email and also support them personally on site.
  • You build sustainable, long-term relationships with the sellers you manage.
  • You continuously analyze the use of our products and the performance of your customers and derive suitable measures from the findings.
  • You not only answer questions but are also responsible for ensuring that our eBay sellers receive a first-class customer service experience by finding solutions to their challenges.
  • You have a deep understanding of customer needs and have an eye for potential improvements.
  • You are pro-active, develop solution approaches for possible obstacles and discuss them continuously with your customers – always with the result in mind.
  • You are a professional at offering our customers products or programs that support them. You actively approach them and convince them.
  • Best practice sharing is very important to us! You are used to sharing your knowledge with customers and colleagues.

What you bring:

  • You are enthusiastic about eBay and have an interest in e-commerce.
  • You have already gained extensive experience in the field of customer service & customer relationship management.
  • You have sales experience in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and enjoy up- and cross-selling various products.
  • You are used to working focused on goals.
  • You have a high level of persuasiveness when selling solutions, even in situations where there are different opinions and positions.
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills. You have various communication styles to effectively manage and conduct conversations, resolve conflicts, and influence the outcome.
  • You work solution-oriented and approach challenges thoughtfully and sensibly.
  • You possess a high level of flexibility, team spirit, and independence.
  • You speak fluent German (native level) and have very good knowledge of the English language.
