Key Accountabilities
This role is responsible for ensuring timely and controlled coordination of an onboarding project with the following focus:
- Life Partnership distribution onboarding, and
- Transitions & operational readiness coordination, including dependencies with Project Optimus and middle-office transformation.
Life Partnership Distribution Coordination
- Act as the primary project interface for Life Partnership distribution onboarding, working closely with Client and Project Manager.
- Review and complete the necessary documentation such as agreements, operating memorandum and KYC.
- Ensure alignment of portfolio structures, product setup, reporting expectations, and onboarding timelines with Client requirements.
- Coordinate across internal stakeholders including:
- Investments
- Transitions & Operations
- Legal & Compliance
- Finance, Risk, Performance & Analytics
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as client, custodians, brokers, legal advisors, and regulators where required.
- Participate in Project working group meetings alongside with Project Manager, ensuring clear actions, owners, and follow-ups.
- With the support of the Project Manager, maintain a clear view of delivery risks, resourcing constraints, and regulatory dependencies, escalating issues proactively.
- Co-ordinate and work closely with Project Manager to provide inputs in preparation of project materials for client / senior management updates where required.
- Ensure documentation, decisions, and approvals are properly tracked and aligned with internal governance expectations.
Transitions & Operational Readiness Management
- Prepare and submit account opening forms to custodian and transfer agent
- Responsible for onboarding of brokers and counterparties and facilitate KYC and Due Diligence conducted by counterparties
- Coordinate the review and execution of agreement i.e. ISDA/CSA
- Perform account maintenance activities (i.e. brokerage/fee commission tables, broker/Counterparty tables within the trading system)
Experience / Qualifications
- At least 5 years of working experience in asset management
- Proactive, result and client oriented
- A team player who can also work independently, hands on, showing entrepreneurship
- Highly organised, structured, and delivery-focused Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication.
- Proactive, resilient, and able to escalate constructively when required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- University Degree or equivalent professional qualifications
