Responsabilidades Del Puesto

  • Responsible for the preparation, proposal, and implementation of the annual sales plan for Animal Nutrition in the region of Catalonia, Aragon, Navarra, and Levante.
  • Responsible for the development of market knowledge and network for the region; responsible for analyzing the market, identifying potential clients, and evaluating the competition to improve Eastman's positioning in the region.
  • Prepare strategic account plans, negotiate, and execute long-term supply contracts with key multinational clients. Represent the sales force in a select number of corporate/commercial projects.
  • Responsible for recommending distribution channels and advising on prices and sales conditions. Identify potential clients in the sales area and develop a commercial approach to achieve better reach. Present Eastman to clients through direct communication in meetings in person, by phone, and emails.
  • Availability to travel 60-70% of the time to visit clients and prospects in the region.
  • Increase the network of contacts and generate potential clients: set appointments, manage the sales process actively and successfully. It is important to maintain communication with the Sales Manager and Market/Business Managers: (follow-up and information on income and profitability; and agree on action plans and priorities.)
  • Utilize corporate systems, processes, and tools such as CRM, sales forecasting, Opportunity Management, etc.

Requisitos Del Puesto

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Animal Nutrition business, dealing with clients in Spain.
  • Preferably studies in Veterinary or Agronomic Engineering or similar from an accredited university, valuing a Master in Animal Nutrition.
  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish and Catalan, preferably advanced English level since communication in the company at the international level is in English.
  • Possess determination, motivation, and attention to detail to ensure that all sales opportunities for Eastman are captured and explored.
  • Be capable of building solid relationships at all levels of clients.
  • Conduct business with the highest standards of Eastman's integrity, complying with local and international laws.
