Global Account Manager
Sensata Technologies is hiring a Global Account Manager in Europe to drive strategic growth with some of the world's most recognized Commercial Equipment OEMs. This role sits at the heart of one of Sensata's fastest-growing businesses and focuses on delivering mission-critical, sensor-rich solutions that support a safer, cleaner, more efficient, and increasingly electrified world. In this position, you will own global growth with TRATON SE, a major German commercial vehicle manufacturer and subsidiary of Volkswagen AG. TRATON brings together iconic brands such as Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, offering a unique opportunity to operate at true global scale.
General Responsibilities
- Leads the direct sales process and achieving sales targets
- Responsible for visits to current and potential clients
- Leads the performing of routine account management activities
- Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets
- Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

- Lead global account strategy and revenue growth with a key Tier-1 OEM
- Identify and win new business involving complex, sensor-based solutions
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across OEMs and Tier suppliers
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and regional sales teams to deliver customer value

- Experience working with large OEM customers and their supplier ecosystem
- Strong commercial mindset combined with technical curiosity and credibility
- Ability to operate strategically while executing hands-on in a matrix organization
