The Tyvek® and Typar® (T&T) enterprise in Water & Protection business unit aspires to be the leading provider of breathable high-performance materials for worker protection, patient safety and creativity. We provide durable garments and accessories for chemical protection, durable microbial barrier materials for sterile environments, non-tear, lightweight sheet products for graphics, signage, packaging and filtration membranes and weatherproof barriers.
DuPont has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Sales Manager Tyvek® Roll Goods Turkey & Middle East covering both Tyvek® Healthcare packaging and Tyvek® Consumer, Industrial and commodity businesses.
This role will maintain and expand relationships with strategic value chain partners, as well as build new strategic channel accounts to accelerate growth in the region in both Healthcare and Consumer & Industrial, commodity segments. This role is part of the Sales Organization and is responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts, driving demand generation with existing and new customers, and serves as key facilitator during DuPont's cross-functional engagements with key end-user accounts.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Accountable for the end-to-end sales processes including VOCs collection, CTQs understanding, value proposition, volume forecast, price, revenue, payment terms, account receivables, etc.
- Build thorough and strategic account planning focused on customer value creation.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing strategic Channel Partners, as well as seek and develop new ones with high-growth profile, that serve Healthcare, Consumer & Industrial, commodity markets in Turkey and broader Middle East region.
- Inspire trust and build sustainable customer relationships to nimbly drive the opportunity pipeline increase and conversion.
- Work collaboratively with strategic value chain partners to develop a pipeline of targeted opportunities that promotes and secures Tyvek® for new applications and/or alternative material replacement to Tyvek®.
- Assess and secure business at risk, negotiate incent-to-use contracts.
- Work with the value chain to extend DuPont's value proposition across critical accounts to maximize business results, increase brand awareness, sustainability and grow revenues in the entire Tyvek® Roll Goods businesses.
- Engage with global team where appropriate and create detailed account plans and contact strategies in a way that enhances cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise.
- Facilitates cross functional collaboration with DuPont technical, quality, product management, supply chain, customer service and marketing team members, to address customer needs.
The position currently reports to the EMEA Tyvek® Roll Goods Sales Leader. Preferred candidates are home based and located in Turkey. The role is expected to travel at least 60% in Turkey/Middle East region to customer sites and relevant tradeshows/conferences.
Qualifications & required profile:
- At least 3 years work experience in commercially oriented roles, including marketing, business development, sales, or strategy.
- Experience in the nonwoven/textile industry, preferably in healthcare, consumer and industrial applications.
- Bachelors or Masters in STEM field. Advanced technical degree preferred.
- Pragmatic, inspiring, results oriented & resilient hunter mindset.
- Ability to quickly understand and assimilate new technologies, products, and processes.
- Intellectual curiosity coupled with a strong drive towards execution.
- Familiarity with the technical and regulatory requirements of evaluating and commercializing materials in Healthcare, Consumer and Industrial space.
- Building sustainable relationships: ability to quickly secure the confidence and trust of others when facing the customer and within DuPont.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
