We're looking for a Director, Client Services to join our team! The Director, Client Services, provides strategic and operational leadership across the department. This role oversees a portfolio of accounts, supports the development of senior staff, drives departmental goals, and ensures outstanding service delivery. The Director plays a key role in setting vision, driving efficiency, and scaling impact.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Lead departmental strategy and guide execution of major accounts.
• Supervise Associate Directors and ensure alignment across account teams.
• Oversee implementation of performance standards, workflows, and service models.
• Partner with leadership across Engineering/Products, Programmatic Trading, and Media Planning, and Business Development to align on priorities.
• Monitor and improve client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
• Own departmental reporting and performance tracking.
• Facilitate professional development programs for client services staff.
• Serve as executive escalation point for complex client issues.
• Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and hiring decisions.
• Submit timesheet approvals and expense reports on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirement

• 8+ years of client services experience in advertising, public affairs, or digital media, preferred.
• 4+ years in people management with oversight of managers and cross-functional teams, preferred.
• Demonstrated success scaling teams, improving systems, and driving results.
• Excellent strategic thinking, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Office Hours

This position is based in Washington, DC however, we are open to remote work in other states. We work on a hybrid basis with many team members working entirely from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
