Senior National Account Manager

About The Role

Dr Squatch is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Account Manager to support the continued expansion of our UK retail business. This role will be responsible for leading the management of our most significant UK retail accounts, including the development and execution of customer strategies that deliver sustainable, long-term growth.

Reporting to the UK Retail Lead, the successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering against our UK expansion goals by strengthening strategic partnerships, driving performance at shelf, and leading cross-functional initiatives that support brand and category growth.

This is a full-time role based in London, England, United Kingdom.

What You'll Do

  • Retail Account Management: Full responsibility for the commercial performance and strategic development of key UK retail accounts across the grocery and high street channel.
  • Joint Business Planning: Lead the development and execution of robust joint business plans, including negotiation of annual terms, promotional strategies, and category growth initiatives.
  • P&L Ownership: Manage customer P&Ls, ensuring all activity is commercially viable and aligned with internal targets.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead accurate forecasting processes and manage promotional investment to optimize ROI and deliver budgeted sales and margin targets.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work in close partnership with internal teams (e.g., supply chain, finance, marketing, and product) to ensure operational excellence and seamless customer delivery.
  • Category Insight & Planning: Utilize category and shopper insights to inform strategy, strengthen customer engagement, and identify opportunities for range, space, and display improvements.
  • Retailer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with retail buying, supply chain, and category teams, positioning Company X as a preferred partner.

About You

  • 5- 8 years of experience working with or within leading UK retailers, ideally with previous exposure to beauty and personal care categories.
  • Demonstrated capability in delivering joint business plans, negotiating terms, and managing promotional activity.
  • Previous experience in managing account-level P&Ls and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at multiple levels internally and externally.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in getting things done without perfect resources in an innovative and timely manner.
  • Ability to commute to a London-based office 3 days a week.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent commercial experience.
