We are currently looking for an IT Onsite Technician (full-time or part-time) for our team in Wehr (Baden-Württemberg). You will be working in an exciting work environment, a family-like team with a good working atmosphere and development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and handling errors in the industrial environment (1st/2nd level support)
  • Primary contact for employees with computer problems
  • Development and implementation of standards in the industrial sector as well as participation in concepts for the industrial IT environment
  • Resolution of software, hardware, and device problems reported by end-users
  • Installation, configuration, and ongoing use of desktop hardware and software
  • Support services for client standard technologies
  • Basic troubleshooting of PC connection problems and network elements, including ISP circuits, firewalls, network switches, wireless devices, and telephone systems
  • Escalation of service problems if necessary
  • Communication with customers/end-users as needed to inform them about the progress of the disruption and notify them about upcoming changes or agreed outages
  • Monitoring of network performance in terms of availability, utilization, and latency time. Taking appropriate measures to resolve throughput problems, if necessary, forwarding to the support team
  • Supervision of maintenance and tracking of facilities
  • Consultation and training of staff regarding computer operation and software applications
