Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading electric utility company located in Alexandria, MN. We are seeking candidates for Customer Service Representative roles. Compensation for this temp opportunity is $20.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more details!
What you’ll do as a Customer Service Representative:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers
- Assist customers with billing and account information
- Collect/open and record all daily payments received, through the mail, drop box, electronically or in the office
- Document payment arrangements and all other communications received from customers
- Deposit and credit balance returns for inactive accounts
- Thoroughly request Service Orders for Read In/Out as well as General Service Orders
- Responsible for documenting NSF/Account Closed payments and notifying customers
- Submit EFT/Bank Drafts per billing due date schedule
- Execute penalty, delinquents, and collections processes
- Produce weekly Final Bill letters, compile monthly write-off list for board approval, send list of write-offs to collections
What you need to be a Customer Service Representative:
- Associate’s degree in business or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in customer service
- Outstanding customer service
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong math skills; ability to work well with money
- Accuracy on all documents
