Project Manager, Implementation

The Project Manager, Implementation will own the end-to-end implementation of Diligent's core product, Moxi, into new Hospital environments. This position manages project scope, implementation priorities, client communications, and quality delivery of robot service projects. The Project Manager also coordinates internal resources across departments to support the timely delivery of products and services.

The PM will work with hospital clients. You will manage projects by serving as a counterpart to our Field Application Engineering and Implementation Services team, who will handle the technical aspect of integrations and configurations. It is strongly preferred that you have managed cross departmental integration projects in healthcare settings.

The PM is responsible for overseeing hardware and software integration and application development project timelines. This role identifies appropriate resources needed and develops schedules to ensure time completion of projects. This position reports to the Director of Implementation and will collaborate with operations, engineering, product, and administrative support teams at customer sites. The PM will work collaboratively with administrative and medical leadership to oversee the installation of robot delivery services. Travel expectations will ebb and flow between 25-45% throughout the year.

This position may be work from home anywhere in the continental United States or hybrid or in-person out of our Austin, TX headquarters.

What You'll Be Doing/Responsibilities

  • Leads (coordinates, facilitates, and motivates) the efforts of the individual, team, client, and other resources associated with project activity and across cross-functional teams
  • Formulates, administers, and documents the detailed Project Plan, which will include all required activities, tasks, risks, issues and resources requirements
  • Forecasts needs by identifying and breaking work down into discrete and measurable tasks, set priorities, define dependencies, schedule activities, prepare acceptance criteria, and organize work; tracks and assesses progress throughout the implementation phase, ensuring timely delivery of the product, working creatively with clients to formulate the final solution.
  • Coordinates and drives implementation meetings, trainings, and critical project information with clients, internal departments, and the leadership team
  • Interacts with clients in a customer-success mentality and provides rapid fire responses to customer needs
  • Determines, analyzes, and formulates current practices, user needs, and workflow processes, issues, and potential solutions on projects
  • Ensures compliance of customer policies

What You'll Need

  • 1-2 years of professional experience managing technical projects within a Hospital environment
  • 1+ years of experience in one of the following areas:
    • Deploying IT enabled products into new environments
    • Experience in a Clinical role (nursing, training, patient care) with exposure to SaaS products
  • Customer service and problem-solving mindset; you proactively identify potential issues before they happen and create resolutions, you have extraordinary attention to detail
  • Successful track record of managing multiple projects effectively; you can juggle and make progress on multiple initiatives simultaneously and work well in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
  • Ability to capture the vision for the robotics service platform and support it
  • Excellent time management; proficient in using project management tools including spreadsheets and timeline tools
  • Experience working with multiple software platforms and tools. For example: Google Suite products, Microsoft Office, Canva, e-learning tools, website management, etc.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, related IT systems, and basic knowledge of healthcare administration structures and policy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and prior experience in a role in which client communications was your responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or greater in Nursing, Informatics, Information Technology or a relevant focus
  • Knowledge and application of a disciplined project management process (Six Sigma and Project Management Professional certifications like CAHIMS, CPHIMS, NI-BC are a plus)
  • Execution of critical and complex initiatives, including:
    • Process optimization and implementation
    • Technology coordination and implementation
    • New service development and deployment
