IT Service Management Advisor
The Technological Resilience Management Department is currently looking for an IT service management advisor. Your role is to maintain and develop the service resilience posture in case of crisis by overseeing Desjardins Group's technological and human resources to meet objectives and compliance requirements. You lead and influence practitioners on development projects and highly innovative, complex strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- Advise and support your clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives under your responsibility
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit's strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify and analyze issues; report major issues; produce diagnoses; and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent your unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations
- Refine the testing and simulation strategy for resilience plans in line with Desjardins Group's digital strategies
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects of varying scope and complexity
- Ensure team performance and quality control, and identify IT recovery standards, methods and procedures
- Help analyze risks and impacts, and develop risk management strategies for IT resilience
- Ensure practitioners comply with processes
- Ensure that activities comply with all requirements (regulatory, security, etc.)

What You Bring To The Table:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Proven experience designing and implementing IT resilience plans
- Experience using a range of ITSM tools: CMDB, ServiceNow, etc.
- Relevant titles and certifications: CBCP, MBCP and other BCP and DRP certifications
- DRI (Disaster Recovery Institute Canada) certification and/or ITIL 4 certification
- Excellent spoken and written French for an executive audience
- Excellent knowledge of industry standards for IT resilience
- Proficiency in business continuity plans (BCP) such as ISO and BCI
- Knowledge of regulations that apply to IT resilience in the financial sector
- Availability to work occasionally at night and on weekends
