Job Overview:

The Value Analysis Support Analyst plays an integral role in a dynamic and proactive Value Analysis team focused on identifying and advancing opportunities for system-level standardization, cost containment, and the adoption of evidence-based solutions across the health system. Working in close partnership with the Value Analysis Manager and Project Coordinators, this role contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making to optimize clinical and financial outcomes.

The Value Analysis Team serves as a strategic resource for the entire system, providing data-driven insights, ensuring contract compliance, and promoting system-wide product alignment. While supporting all departments, the team plays a pivotal role in guiding the Value Analysis Steering Committee and Subcommittees by delivering the research and analysis necessary for informed, evidence-based decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Contribute to Strategic Goals: Support the Value Analysis Manager and Project Coordinators in identifying opportunities that support organizational and Value Analysis goals related to value, cost savings, quality improvement, and product standardization.
  2. Assist in Data Collection and Analysis: Ensure data consistency by standardizing formats, structures, and integrity across data sets to support accurate validation and reliable analysis.
  3. Support Value Analysis Team Tasks: Provide operational and administrative support to aid in the planning, execution, and monitoring of value analysis projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with strategic objectives.
  4. Contract Monitoring and Compliance: Track organizational and vendor performance and adherence to contract terms; escalate issues and provide recommendations to ensure accountability and value realization.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, clinical teams, and supply chain partners to gather input, share findings, and support product-related decisions.

Required Certification/License/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business or healthcare field.
  • Two (2) years' experience in healthcare clinical environment or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
