Our client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for a Laboratory Technician position based out of Branchburg, NJ. Duration: Long-Term Contract (High possibility of extension). Rate: $25-$27/hr on W2.
Job Summary:
A challenging and engaging Laboratory Technician position is available in the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing Group for motivated individuals with a scientific/technical background. The candidate will perform Oligonucleotide purification using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), analytical testing and various other manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Performing oligonucleotide purification and characterization by following detailed instructions outlined in production batch records and SOPs. The candidate will need to become proficient with complex and technical equipment and processes.
• You will be required to accurately and legibly record methods, materials, and results in batch records, according to established formats, and to keep supervisor informed on status of all projects and of significant findings and results in critical areas.
• You will often participate in, or lead, various Group projects, activities and initiatives as part of their career and personal development.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, Chemistry or Biochemistry major preferred.
Experience: 0-4 year's industry experience. (Candidates right out of college with a Chemistry or Biochemistry degree is highly preferred)
