Edelman is looking for an Account Executive to join our Public Relations team focused on Health & Pharma. You'll collaborate on impactful campaigns for some of the most respected names in the industry.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will help develop and implement integrated communications strategies for clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, public health, and wellness. You'll contribute across media relations, content creation, and stakeholder engagement—delivering work that builds trust and sparks important conversations in the health sector.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of client accounts in the health/pharma sector.
- Draft press releases, key messages, Q&As, and media materials that are both accurate and engaging.
- Build and nurture relationships with health, science, and lifestyle media.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and healthcare news to inform client strategies.
- Work with internal teams (creative, digital, strategy, analytics) to bring integrated campaigns to life.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in public relations or communications, ideally in health, pharma, or biotech.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling messages.
- Familiarity with the healthcare media landscape and basic understanding of regulatory considerations.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a passion for learning.
- Genuine interest in health communications and improving public well-being.
