Support Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Support Technician to join their team onsite in Dallas, TX and provide end-user support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
• Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
• Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve
• Performs IMAC project work – imaging / setting up / deployment / SNOW for asset tracking – some basic troubleshooting during deployment
• Resolves network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches
• Represents the company in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates
• Interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting PC hardware and software
• Experience supporting mobile data plans, mobile networks, and devices is a plus
• Understanding of desktop support for imaging / deploying / troubleshooting PC's
• ServiceNow or similar ticketing system experience
• Hardware and software support experience
• Customer facing experience
• Windows 10/11 experience
• Able to train quickly on procedures and should have good IT knowledge base
• Basic network troubleshooting skills
• Able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment with strong personalities, and detail oriented
• Mac OS and MS Intune experience is a plus
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required

Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $19.70 - $28.87 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
