Position Summary

The Business Central Manager is responsible for leading and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects within the ERP Delivery practice. This role oversees all aspects of functional delivery, including business process design, system configuration, testing, and post-go-live support. The position will manage a team of consultants based in India and collaborate closely with U.S.-based project teams to ensure consistency and quality in delivery across global engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Business Central implementation projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Conduct client workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Configure Business Central modules across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and related business processes.
  • Collaborate with technical and integration teams to ensure system alignment and solution quality.
  • Serve as a functional subject matter expert and primary client contact during project execution.
  • Support the Crowe ERP Delivery Methodology through documentation, testing, and validation activities.
  • Manage and mentor functional consultants, providing feedback, guidance, and performance management support.
  • Ensure delivery quality and compliance with Crowe standards, methodologies, and governance practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through reusable assets, process refinement, and team training initiatives.

Expected Outcomes / Success Measures

Successful, high-quality delivery of Business Central projects that meet or exceed client expectations. Positive client satisfaction scores and repeat engagements within the ERP Delivery practice. Consistent alignment with Crowe's delivery standards, including documentation and quality checkpoints. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and India delivery centers. Demonstrated team development and capability building among India-based consultants.

Qualifications

Required: 4+ years of ERP functional consulting experience, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV. Proven experience leading full lifecycle ERP implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Strong understanding of core business processes in accounting, inventory, supply chain, and manufacturing. Ability to manage project teams and collaborate with cross-border stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate. Experience with Agile or hybrid ERP delivery methodologies. Prior experience in a consulting environment, ideally within a Big 4 or similar professional services firm.
