Answer incoming calls, complete a lead form and direct the caller to the Director of Sales or Catering Manager
Assist guests with questions, changes and special requests
Create banquet event orders, letters and perform required administrative duties
Serve as liaison between the hotel and the group contact on in house groups
Implement program details including meeting requirements, accommodations, food & beverage functions, audio-visual requirements on in house groups
Organize all information into a written format ("Group Brief") for internal distribution
Knowledge of menu planning, and the ability to "guide" a group towards meals most conducive to the size of their group and the space allotted
Maintain accurate, legible records and files
Create mailing lists, spreadsheets and other departmental projects as needed
Support and assist with servicing event
