Client Liaison: Serve as clients' primary point of contact, providing proactive updates on shipment status and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalized service.
Shipment Coordination & Documentation: Oversee the complete shipment lifecycle from booking to final delivery. Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documentation (e.g., air waybills, bills of lading, customs forms), ensuring accuracy and compliance with import/export regulations.
Operational Support: Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams (e.g., sales, operations) to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments. Coordinate problem resolution to handle delays, discrepancies, or unforeseen issues during transit.
Administrative & Reporting Duties: Maintain accurate client and shipment records using the company's transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software. Generate regular reports on freight activities, client feedback, and service performance metrics to inform process improvements.
Compliance & Best Practices: Stay informed about local, national, and international shipping regulations and industry best practices. Ensure all processes adhere to safety, legal, and quality standards.
